These terms and conditions apply to all contracts entered via our website allcarparts.co.uk between All Car Buyers Ltd, Yard 1, Crown Street, Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV1 1PX (‘We’/ ‘Us’) and any individual who is purchasing items from our website (‘you’).

We are a family run car dismantlers offering reasonably priced car spares to the trade and general public.

We aim to offer the best service possible and will always endeavour to remedy any fault that arises.

Our prices are based on genuine value for money and not extortion because the parts are hard to source, buy from us and you will benefit from our many years experience in the motor salvage business.

To enable us to offer reasonable prices we use a generic template for listing items to save on time taken and allow for lower prices. As a result details of parts on the site are a guide and not a guaranteed reflection of what model or variation that the part will fit, for this reason we ask that you confirm the serial numbers etc before purchase. If the picture and the title is not adequate for you to decide if the part is suitable for your needs, we ask that you call us on 0844 811 1721 during working hours to ask any questions that you may have.

We never use stock photos and the item in the picture is the item that you will receive.

All items are guaranteed to work when you receive them but there is no time limited guarantee.

Please remember that we are a car breakers yard and not a main dealer or a motor factors, we do not supply brand new shiny parts in a box (unless stated) and our parts are taken from a car by oily mechanics not men in white overalls. Parts may be dirty or blemished in some way, however, they are always tested whilst still on the donor vehicle before removing them and offering them for sale to ensure they are of a serviceable condition.

The item will arrive with you in a reasonable time span, in good condition and in working order.

Terms of Sale

Parts purchased will comply with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and will be of “Satisfactory Quality” unless specified at the time of sale.

We test all car parts before offering them for sale and offer a “working when received” guarantee.

Headlights
In the case of headlights – included is the electric adjusters if fitted to the headlamp unit in most cases, however these are considered a freebie so please ask if you really need them as some fall off during removal.

In the case of all lights – the bulbs and bulb holders are normally included, however, these are considered as a freebie, so please ask if you need them.

Wheels & Tyres
In the case of wheels & Tyres – all tyres are measured for depth of centre of tread. We do NOT take an average, we simply pick a spot and measure the complete depth of tread. They are approximate tread levels and NOT 100% accurate. They are taken from the base of the tread and NOT the wear bar. Tyresa are inspected for obvious signs of damage, however, we are a breakers yard and NOT a tyre specialist so we may miss problems and they are sold as seen, to be used used at your discretion only. If you are unsure then please consult a tyre specialist BEFORE use. Wheels are rarely perfect, however, we do try to show a very good picture of each wheel allowing you to see them close up.

Parts
In the case of all parts: Any items connected physically in the picture are included – WE NEVER USE STOCK PHOTOS, we ALWAYS photograph the actual part meaning that what you see is what you get! All wires and pipes are generally cut after the plug, thus enabling you to either plug in or connect with electrical connectors – Please ask if you need a specific part of the plug, cable or part.

Consumable Parts
Bearings, bushes, rubber gaitors, seals and other such like consumable parts come without warranty unless stated.

Bulbs
In any form, bulbs are a commodity and are not guaranteed. Anything with a bulb in it, in any shape or form is sold without the bulbs even though they may actually be with the item, if they work that is a bonus, if they do not, then it is unfortunate but not our responsibility.

Window regulators
Do not come with the plastic fixing clips although we will leave them on where possible – again, please ask if you specifically require a clip and we will check.

Car stereos
Are sold with or without the security code – if we say “no code” we mean it will need decoding, if we say “with code” it will come with the security code.

Tow bars
Come as shown in the picture, generally they do not come with the fittings such as bolts, spacers and nuts, sometimes we only manage to remove part of the tow bar due to siezed nuts etc, so please check closely as what you see is was you get, nothing more.

Fitting and Checking
All used parts are sold in good faith, however, you should employ a suitably experienced and qualified tradesman to both check and fit the items to your vehicle. All parts should be tested and examined by a qualified technician before use. We do not accept responsibility for any problems arising from any part purchased from us including or due to failure of the part. Any costs associated with testing, fitting or removal of this item are the sole responsibilty of the purchaser and we will under no circumstances be responsible for any costs incurred whatsoever.

We try our best to title the item with all the details required to find a perfect match, however, we are not experts on all vehicles so please take note of part numbers or ask if it WILL be suitable before buying. If you are not 100% sure as we cannot take responsibility for your incorrect purchase, although we will allow you to return any non computerised part for a full refund if you have purchased in error.

Mail Order

If the item is damaged, faulty or not as described we will either replace it or refund in full including any postage charges or costs, however, you must return the item in its original packaging.

We will accept items for return up to 14 days after the date of sale.

Change of Mind
If you have changed your mind please return the item and we will refund your payment less the postage and packaging incurred to supply you with the item.

Return Conditions
You must return all items using a recorded or tracked delivery service as we are not responsible for items returned that become lost in the post.

Returns – Exclusions
All electronic devices such as ECU’s, vehicle computer items and sensors are non-returnable, (this is allowed within the distance selling act) due to the fact that when fitting an electrical item to a faulty car you may render the replacement part faulty too if there is a different fault elsewhere.
We do not supply these types of parts for you to try out with a view to finding the fault on your vehicle. If you are unsure which sensor or electronic device is faulty on your vehicle we suggest getting a computer diagnosis prior to ordering the parts as under no circumstances will we refund if the part is removed from its sealed packaging.

Deliveries

Our FREE POSTAGE uses Royal Mail or Parcel Force. However, we do offer a “Get it Fast” postage option which will guarantee NEXT DAY delivery – providing this is purchased and paid for BEFORE we do our daily postal run.

NEXT DAY Option
If you require the NEXT DAY option it is always better to buy over the phone as we can then notify the dispatch team of the urgency.

Please Note: Larger items may not be available for a NEXT DAY service in certain parts of the UK.

We will ship to the address you provide at the time of purchase. Please ensure that this is correct and we have a valid contact number for you, in case of problems with the order.

‘Remote’ Area Deliveries and Surcharges

The Highlands and Islands of Scotland – postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE,
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly – postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25

Large, heavy and oversize items such as panels, gear boxes, engines or long items may incur a surcharge to other unspecified areas dependent on the available shipping services, we will inform you of these charges before the item is shipped to allow you to decide if you want to cancel the order or pay the surcharge.

Overseas Deliveries
Overseas delivery charges are just an estimate and we may require extra postal fees dependent on your location, we will advise of any extra charges before the item is dispatched to allow you to make an informed decision on whether to proceed with the order. If the postage cost is cheaper than our estimate we will refund the difference.

When our delivery times are quoted in number of days, it means ‘working days’ This means Monday to Friday excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

If for any reason your delivery has been delayed we will inform you immediately of your new delivery date.

Any deliveries scheduled to arrive on a weekend or Bank Holiday will be delivered on the following working day. In addition, our warehouse is closed on Sunday and Bank Holidays so orders placed on these days will not be dispatched until the following working day.

Please ensure all goods are thoroughly inspected before being signed for to ensure that the item has not been damaged in transit. If goods prove to be damaged, DO NOT sign, refuse delivery & contact us immediately. In the event that the delivery driver does not allow time to inspect the goods sign the Delivery Note to obtain them, but delete any wording in the signature box to the effect that the goods were ‘Received in good condition’. The words unexamined or unchecked on the delivery note are not acceptable. We will not be held responsible for the refund of goods damaged in transit if they have been signed for as in good condition.

Payment

If you wish to pay us direct over the telephone using your credit or debit card, please call 0844 811 1721 during our working hours of 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday & 7am TO 2pm Saturday. We are closed Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Title to the goods shall remain with us until paid in full with cleared funds. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

Making a Purchase

Once you have browsed our online store and added items you wish to purchase to your shopping cart, when you click on ‘Checkout’ you will be re-directed to our secure payment portal and asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order and take the payment.

We accept all major credit cards.

We currently only ship orders within the UK.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
